Juanita Bell Hildreth, 80, of Steens, MS passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Brooksville Cemetery, Brooksville, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Hildreth was born March 5, 1935 to the late James Harlen Britt and Daisy Pearl Beaman Britt in Noxubee County, MS.  She has lived in the area for her entire life, where she has enjoyed taking care of her family and her home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hildreth is preceded in death by her husband-Jerry Hildreth; son-Jim Bryan; daughters-Kay Felts and Ailene Cowart; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hildreth is survived by her daughters-Rhonda (Melvin) Tweed, Auburn, NY and Ann Penix, North Carolina; son-Charles Bryan, Miami, FL; ex son-in-law-Bobby Crawford, Steens, MS; sister-Doris Moore, Brooksville, MS; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Memorials or donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
