Juanita Shelton, 86, of Vernon, AL passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Shelton was born on July 2, 1931, in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Jess Gaught and Gertie Sprayberry. She worked as a hostess at Morrison's Cafeteria for 20 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband- Ivan Shelton, Sr. and her sister- Eloise Hubbard.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her daughter- Martha Butler of Vernon, AL; son- Ivan Shelton, Jr. of Caledonia, MS; one sister; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
