June Elizabeth Cook, 66, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. The memorial service will be Friday, October 2, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Sam Vaughn officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with all arrangements.

June was born December 13, 1959, in Columbus, MS, to the late June Kennedy. She was a homemaker for many years. June loved her family and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything in the world. In addition to her mom, she is preceded in death by her sister, Faith Dorlac.

June is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary Cook; daughters: Jennifer (Marc) Tomlinson of Steens, MS, Penny (Randy) Butler of Columbus, MS, and Rachel Cook of Steens, MS; brother, Eddie (Debbie) Wayne Kennedy of Ethelsville, Alabama; sister, Amy (James Frye) of Columbus, MS; grandchildren, Caleb Price, Aaren Butler, Emma Butler, Noah Cook, and Colby Price; great grandchildren, Grayson Butler, and 2 on the way.
