J.W. Bush, 81 of Caledonia, MS passed away November 17, 2013 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Bush will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral Service will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Robin Woolridge Elmore officiating. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Bush was born February 29, 1932 to the late Leroy & Maude Hyde Bush in Bentley, MS. He was a workaholic but enjoyed fishing, gardening and landscaping. He retired in 1985 from Bacco Materials as a diesel mechanic after 20 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his son - James Earl Bush, ex-wife - Everriese Dodson Ruth and sisters - Shirley Barnett, Betty Massey and Mary Ruth Weeks, grandchildren - David Anthony Bush and Angela Ann Dolan. Mr. Bush is survived by his daughters - Teresa (Mark ) Hollowell, Caledonia, MS, Rita Kay (Jim ) Wood, Caledonia, MS, and Quillis (James Roger) Dolan, Caledonia, MS, Sons - Randy (Stefanie) Bush, Caledonia, MS, David Bush, Caledonia, MS and Billy Ray Bush, Caledonia, MS, Sisters - Jean Kendall, Vardaman, MS, Loreen Ward, Little Rock, AR, Mageline White, Little Rock, AR and Linda Gail Lovell, Helena, AR. Pallbearers will be Matthew Hollowell, Anthony Walters, Justin Birmingham, Kevin Birmingham, William White, Tommy Dove, Mack Edwards, Jimmy Dolan, John Taylor, and Dillon Dennison.
