Karen Brewer, 61 of West Point, MS passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 2pm at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Brewer was born to Jessie Ray Ford and the late Geraldine Coffman Ford in Stamford, Texas. She moved from Cedar Hill, TX 25 years ago and was a truck driver for over 25 years. Mrs. Brewer enjoyed reading, facebook friends, horses and traveling. Mrs. Brewer is survived by her father- Jessie Ray Ford, Stamford, TX ; son Brent Brewer, Houston, TX : daughter- Billie Ann (Tommy) Young, Columbus, MS ; brother- Karl Ford, Winnsboro, TX ; grandchildren- Lauren Bartlett, Curry Smith and Jacob Young; great-grandchild- Ashlyn Oxendine.
