Karen Louise Bland Weathers, 67 of Columbus, MS, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her residence.

No service at this time. A private graveside will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Weathers was born on Friday, September 17, 1956, in Lowndes County, MS to the late Garvis and Louise Logan Bland. She lived in Columbus, Mississippi, her whole life. Mrs. Weathers worked as a preschool teacher at First Baptist Church. She loved Jesus, her children, and her grandchildren with all her heart. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weathers is preceded in death by her son- Jeremy Daniel Vandevender.

Mrs. Weathers is survived by her husband- Marc Kelcey Weathers, daughters- Merideth Harper Durard (Terry) of Joelton, TN, and Leah Harper Ketchum (Bryce) of Flora, MS; stepdaughter- Brittani Weathers Brown (Robby) of Columbus, MS; son- Derek Harper (Kaitlan) of Cookeville, TN; stepsons- Marc Stanley Weathers of Columbus, MS, Taylor Furie Weathers (Tristan) of Arlington, TN,  brother- Wayne Bland (Debbie) of Starkville, MS, and grandchildren – Makinzie Harper of Joelton, TN, Jd Boyd of Joelton, TN, Macy Durard of Joelton, Tn, Jack Johnson of Joelton, TN, Tripp Johnson of Flora, MS, Wes Ketchum of Flora, MS, Bryce Harper of Cookeville, TN, Laine Harper of Cookeville, TN, Ellington Brown of Columbus, MS, Rollins Brown of Columbus, Ms, and Alfred Weathers of Arlington, TN.
