Katherine "Kacky" Lines, age 87, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Arrington at Plantation Pointe, Columbus, MS.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 10:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church, Columbus, MS with Rev. Wayne Bruchey officiating. Interment will be in the columbarium at First Presbyterian Church USA, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory, Columbus, MS is entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Lines was born on September 17, 1930, in West Helena, AR to the late Charles Franklin and Narine Kate Spence Greer, Sr. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church USA, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Lines was a Medical Secretary and Transcriptionist at Columbus Hospital before retiring after 23 years for Internal Medicine Associates. She was a member of Kiwanis Club, Junior Auxiliary and Magnolia Tennis Club. Mrs. Lines served at First Presbyterian Church USA as an Elder, Deacon, on the Worship and Music Committee, the Presbyterian Women, the Loft Choir, and for Keenagers of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lines was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years- Richard Henry Lines, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Lines is survived by her daughters- Kate (Mansel) Guerry of Tallahassee, FL, Carra (Byron) Williams of Columbus, MS, and Anna (Scott) Jones of Columbus, MS; son- Jim Tilley, Jr. of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law- Nancy Rudy, Warwick, NY.

Honorary pallbearers will be Past and Present Members of The Loft Choir of First Presbyterian Church USA, Columbus, MS.
