Katherine Anneta Tuggle, 61 of Columbus, MS passed away, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Tuggle will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Cruz officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Tuggle was born May 23, 1951 to the late Harold Max and Lunell Allen Hood in Sulligent, AL. She was married to the late William "Bill" Tuggle and together they owned A & B Nursery for 10 years before retiring in 2002. Mrs. Tuggle was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Tuggle was preceded in death by her sister – Maxine Franks, niece – Shelia Green and nephews – Max Franks and Harold Ray McDill. Mrs. Tuggle is survived by her daughters – Hazel (James) Montgomery, Gordo, AL, Melonie (Ronald) Underwood, Columbus, MS, Martha (Barry) Yaw, Caledonia, MS, sons – Wayne (Tammy) Woolbright, Sulligent, AL, and James Woodbright, Sulligent, AL, sisters – Jackie (Bill) Taylor, Diane Brock, Mable (Levon) Frost, brother – Henry (Glenda) Hood, Grandchildren – Brandy Sanders, Claudia Underwood, Amy (Derick) Richardson, Danica Atkins, Max (Katie) Atkins, Rhonda (Adam) Fortune, Michael Woolbright, Shae Mixon, Krysten Allen, Dustin Otts, William Yaw, Mikey McGraw and 8 Great-grandchildren. Caregivers – Lisa Daniel, Cheltsi Daniel and Melonie Underwood. Pallbearers will be Michael Woolbright, Cory Beard, Scott Bowels, Max Atkins, Brandon Allen and William Yaw. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Woodbright, Dr. Busch, Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle ICU and 5th floor nurses, Marvin Beard, James Woodbright, James Montgomery, Ronald Underwood and Barry Yaw.
