Kathryn E. Richardson, 92, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at The Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. A Graveside Service will be Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Russell Brown officiating at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Richardson was born October 15, 1923 to the late Charlie P. and Rosie Henderson Harrell in Pickens County, AL. She has lived in the area her entire life, where she was an assembly line worker for American Bosch. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, making dolls, and going camping. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter-Kay Richardson; brother-Herbert Harrell; and sister-Dorothy Zaiontz. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband-J. W. Richardson, Columbus, MS; sister-Zeo Eaton, Columbus, MS; grandchild-Chad (Courtney) Lanier, Rutledge, GA; great grandchildren-Jacob Lanier, Hannah Lanier, and Gracie Lanier; nephews-Don (Jan) Hudson, James Hudson, and Bobby (Jane) Eaton; and special friend-Winston Oglesby.
