Kathy Holliday Fortner, 47 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2 PM – 3 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A memorial service will be at 3 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating.  Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Fortner was born September 12, 1968 to the late Wade and Faye Beasley Holliday in Columbus, MS.  She was of the Baptist faith, loved her dogs, enjoyed 4-wheeling, and sewing.  Mrs. Fortner owned her own Karaoke Business and enjoyed singing.

Mrs. Fortner is survived by her husband – Eddie Fortner, Estill Springs, TN; sister – Becky (Scott) Kinard, Columbus, MS; brother – Burt Holliday and Bill Carr, Vernon, AL; step - mother - Pat Holliday, Columbus, MS; dear friend – Brandi Fears, Columbus, MS.
