Kathy Lane Gordon

Kathy Lane Gordon, 69, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS with Bro. Byron Benson officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Gordon was born February 28, 1957, in Columbus, MS to the late W.C. “Buck” Egger and Verna Rhee Egger. She married Dennis Gordon on September 27, 1980. Mrs. Gordon worked and retired from the MS State Department of Health. After retiring, she worked at the YMCA in Caledonia, MS. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Gordon loved working in her yard, growing flowers, and loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by her spouse, Dennis Gordon; children, Andrew (Brooke) Gordon and Daniel (Kortney) Gordon; grandchildren, Wes Gordon, David Gordon, Rhett Gordon, Ellie Kate Gordon; and sister, Sandra Richards.
