Kathy Deloris Starr, 64 of Caledonia, MS passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 12:00-3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Rev. Kevin Cuavas officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Starr was born May 28, 1952, to the late Lonnie and Katie Rea Reynolds in Greenville, Alabama. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church Columbus, MS. Mrs. Starr was a soft lines manager at K-Mart for 21 years.  She attended college at the University of Montevallo where she earned a bachelor's degree in merchandising and also enjoyed doing art and crafts. Mrs. Starr was a loving wife to her husband Jack H. Starr for many years.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Starr was preceded in death by her sister – Nelda Kate Reynolds.

Mrs. Starr is survived by her husband – Jack H. Starr, Caledonia, MS; brother – Patrick (Willene) Reynolds; brother and sister in laws – Robert J. (Vonnie) Starr, Lee (Becky) Eleban, Bill (Michele) Winters, and Bill (Rhonda) Starr; father and mother in law – CW04 Ret. Robert M. (Catherine A.) Starr and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bill Winters, Bill Starr, Billy Craig, Michael Salas, Butch Howard, and Scott Nichols. Honorary pallbearers will be CW04 Ret. Robert M. Starr, Robert J. Starr, Jeff Morrison, Roger Short, E.T. Colvin, Steve Hatcher, Patrick Reynolds, Spence Wollingford and Joseph Winters.
