Kayla Kathleen Camp, 21, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Kayla was born November 23, 1995, in Starkville, MS to Tommy Camp and Dedra Camp. She was a member of ROTC and enjoyed fixing hair. Kayla loved animals very much and so also loved to draw. She was a loving mother to her daughter Abigail. Kayla was loved dearly by her family and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather- Dewey Camp, and her maternal grandmother- Edna Kathleen Kyzer-Pierson.

Kayla is survived by her father- Tommy (Mary Grace) Camp of Columbus, MS; mother- Dedra Camp of Brookwood, AL; daughter- Abigail Barnett of Echola, AL; brother- Dustin Thomas Camp of Brookwood, AL; sister- Kazzandra Jane Camp of Columbus, MS; grandmothers- Edna Camp of Columbus, MS, and Nedra Fulton of Tuscaloosa, AL; and a host of aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Camp, Timothy Field, Dalton Fields, John Fields, Dustin Camp, Taylor Pierson, Duncan Camp, and Cody Thomplinson.
