Kayla June Robison, 29, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at her residence.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Taylor officiating.

Kayla was born June 20, 1988, in Columbus, MS to Nick Robison and Judy Barron. She was a graduate of MUW and acquired her bachelor's degree. She was a member of the Honor Society and had numerous academic achievements and awards.

Kayla was a gentle spirit with such a good soul who always felt deeply the pain and the hurt that any of her friends and family experienced. She was a devoted champion and rescuer of any animals in need, taking them in, comforting them and nursing them back to health.

Most of all Kayla adored her cat Cheetah. She loved her family and her friends, and most important her beloved fiancé Joseph House. She was also known as Aunt KK to her nieces and nephews.  Kayla was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents - Buddy and Mable Barron, Paternal grandfather - Chris Robison and uncles - Dr. James Barron and Hal Robison.

Kayla is survived by her fiancé- Joseph "Joe" House of Columbus, MS; mother- Judy (James) Smith of Columbus, MS; father- Nick (Wendi) Robison of Columbus, MS;  grandmother- Jeannie Robison (Bo) Diermann of Caledonia, MS; grandfather- James (Martha) Brown of New Hope, MS; future father-in-law- Rance House of Murphysboro, GA; future mother-in-law- Belinda Steenstra of Bradenton, FL; sister- Alana Robison (Joey) Meadows of Columbus, MS; step-sister- Lacey Shaw (Daniel) Brown of Beebe, AR; aunt- June Barron and family of League City, TX and aunt Lou Barron and family Newburgh, ME; nephews- Brennan Gable, Bryson Gable, and Brayden Meadows all of Columbus, MS; niece- Kali Meadows of Columbus, MS; and many other loved ones.
