Keith C. Sanders, 79 of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Graveside will follow at 12:00 PM at Walnut Grove in Millport, Alabama with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Sanders was born September 28, 1944, in Fernbank, Alabama, to the late Renzo Sanders and Celia Gilliam Sanders. Mr. Sanders was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Sanders loved to garden. He had gardens in the Spring and Fall every year. Mr. Sanders was always a hard worker. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife- Margaret Ann Sanders; daughters- Rená (Keith) Coleman, Lynn Sanders, and Kathy (Jeremy) Dunn; grandchildren- Lainey Goodin, McKenzie Allen, and Travis Allen; great-grandchildren- Everleigh Jones, and Weston Allen; sisters- Cleo Spalding, Detrice Callender, Mavis Wheeler, and brother James E. Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Marty Pennington, Corey Hall, Chris Spalding, Ty Wyckoff, Travis Allen, and Lad Coleman.
