Kenneth O. Canida, 86, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral Service will be Monday, November 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Columbus, MS, with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Canida was born April 11, 1937, in Bear Creek, Alabama to the late William A. Canida and Myrtice Goodwin Canida. Mr. Canida was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. He was a car salesman all his life. Mr. Canida was an Air Force and Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Canida is preceded in death by his daughter- Paige Canida, and numerous brothers.

Mr. Canida is survived by his wife of 63 years- Rubye Sanford Canida; daughter- Suzanne (Steve) Daquilla; son- Todd Canida; grandchildren- Ashley (Gunnar) Canida- Clark, Lexus Canida, Lauren Canida, Lezlie Canida, and Kenneth Canida.
