Kenneth Ray Garner, 89, of Caledonia, MS passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at his residence in Caledonia, MS.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the Rowan Cemetery Chapel on Rowan Cemetery Road in Caledonia, MS with Bro. P.J. Mortensen officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Garner was born January 5, 1934, in Decatur, MS to the late Furman Garner and late Cora Bell McElhenney Garner. Mr. Garner was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS. He worked many years as a Lab Technician for National Gypsm Company. Kenneth enjoyed singing, fishing, and hunting. Mr. Garner was an avid sports fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Garner is preceded in death by his sons- Gary Garner and David Garner.

Mr. Garner is survived by his wife- Dorothy Kemp Garner of Caledonia, son- Ricky Garner, Daughter- Rita (Randal) Jackson, eight grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Rowan Cemetery Fund and Border Springs Baptist Church.
