Kenneth Wayne Jones, 73, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice-Tupelo.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Jones was born November 18, 1946, in Hardtner, KS to the late Ernest and Florene Bean Jones. He married the love of his life, Gloria Ray, on March 9, 1968, in Columbus, MS. Mr.Jones loved to go camping and was a member of Good Sams Camping Club, Tenn-Tom Travelers, VFW, and the American Legion. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired in 1985 as a TSGT.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 51 years- Gloria Jones of Columbus, MS; sons- Charles Steven (Brenda Whitlock) Jones of Columbus, MS and James Scott (Syble) Jones of Eupora, MS; sister- Janice (Gene) Bush of Cairo, KS; grandchildren- Anna Jones, Tim (Brittany) Jones, and Chelsea Jones; great-grandchild- Aria Blair Jones.

Pallbearers will be the Honor Guard.
