Ken McNeal, Jr. Ken McNeal, Jr., 44 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, September 24, 2011 at his residence. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Visitation will also be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 1 PM – 2 PM at Turner's Funeral Home, Luverene, AL and graveside services to follow with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Mr. McNeal was born February 6, 1967 in Troy, AL to Kenneth Dale McNeal, Sr. and Joyce Ann Morgan McNeal. He was a resident of Columbus, MS for the past twenty years having moved from the Gulf Coast area. Mr. McNeal was a chemist for Eka Chemicals, Inc., Columbus, MS with twenty years of service. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. McNeal is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ann McNeal; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. McNeal, Brantley, AL; great grandmother, Mrs. Willie Belle Morgan, Luverne, AL; great aunts, Ms. Tommie Morgan and Mrs. Maureen Walker both of Luverene, AL. Mr. McNeal is survived by his father, Kenneth Dale McNeal, Sr. and step-mother Merilyn McNeal, Gulfport, MS; sister, Amanda (Chad) Martin, Gulfport, MS; step-sister, Connie Jones; step-brother, Trent Lee and two nephews, Cooper Martin and Brady Martin. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
