Kenneth "Kenny" Nathaniel Shepherd, 62, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

No services have been made at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Kenny was born July 6, 1963, in Reform, Alabama, to the late Billy Shepherd and Nancy Hudson. He was a roofer and worked for Sam Jones for 20 years. In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by grandparents- William "Pap" Shepherd and Dorothy Shepherd, Grady Hudson and Lucille Hudson.

Kenny is survived by his wife - Mary Jones Shepherd; daughter - Dana Woolbright; grandchildren- Joshua Acker, Chloe Acker, and Mason Woolbright,; siblings- Tony Shepherd, Timmy Shepherd, Sandy "Roy" Hamilton of Gordo, Alabama, and Becky "Jim" Thompson of Carrolton, Alabama; niece- Ava Clair Frethwell; father-in-law- Sam Jones; mother-in-law- Liz Jones; and sister-in-laws- Michell Jones and Linda Jones.
