Kim Wilson Lybrand, 42 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Max Bobbitt officiating. Interment will be at Higdon Church of God Cemetery, Kennedy, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Lybrand was born June 8, 1972 in Amory, MS to Elvie Taylor Guin and the late Charles William Wilson. She moved to Lowndes County six years ago and was a member of Academy Baptist Church, Sulligent, AL. Mrs. Lybrand was a self-employed personal care nurse at "A Place for Mom." In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her brother- Greg Wilson, grandparents-Grady and Dorothy Taylor and Ed and Virgie Wilson. Mrs. Lybrand is survived by her husband-Tony Lybrand, Columbus, MS; mother-Elvie (Hughdolph) Guin, Columbus, MS; son-Jimmy Springfield ,Vernon, Al ; step-son-Tony Lybrand, Jr.; step-daughter-Mackenzie Lybrand all of Columbus, MS; brothers- Jeff (Donna) Wilson, Vernon, AL and Charlie Wilson, Millport, AL and her granddaughter-Marissa Taylor Springfield, Vernon, AL; nephews-Garret Wilson, Collin Wilson and Charlie Steven Wilson and one niece- Macy Wilson all of Vernon, AL. Pallbearers will be Michael Anderson, Jimmy Springfield, Mike Lyons, Charles Steven Wilson, Collin Wilson, Garret Wilson, Chris Turner and Shawn Burmaster. Honorary pallbearers will be Foster Lindsey and Brian Dunn.
