Kittie Carine Aultman Laffoon, 68, of Columbus, MS, passed away from a brief illness,  Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 am with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating at First Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Laffoon will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Laffoon was born March 1, 1947 to the late Horace Aultman and Mildred McCrary Aultman in Columbus, MS, where she has spent her lifetime. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, where she served as Sunday school teacher, church secretary, several search committees, and was involved with numerous church groups. Mrs. Laffoon was also the owner of the well-known business, The Grapevine, in Columbus for 30 years.

Mrs. Laffoon is survived by her husband-Sam Laffoon, Columbus, MS; daughter-Tori (David) Alexander, Fort Worth, TX; son-Bryan (Lou Ann) Laffoon, Derby, VT; grandchildren-Riley Laffoon, Kace Laffoon, Watson Laffoon, Evan Alexander, Shane Alexander; brother Bill (Sandy) Aultman; cousin-Allen McCrary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Rainey, Dr. Cecil Boswell, Carry Upton, Steve Foreman, Bernard Hammett, John Adel Musa, James Williams, Forrest Allgood. Honorary pallbearers will be Gatewood Sunday School Class, Koinonia Sunday School Class, and Jeff Lovern.
