Larry Edward Bond, 72, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, MS.

Private family graveside will be at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, Ms entrusted with all arrangements.

Mr. Bond was born March 18, 1953, in Columbus, MS to the late Edward Patmon Bond and Christine Dodd Williams. He was an avid Alabama football fan. Mr. Bond was a radio DJ for WMBC Radio and later Cumulus Radio. He loved his wife- Karen and their dogs- Macy and Frito. Mr. In addition to his family, Mr. Bond is preceded in death by his wife- Karen Bond; son- Shaun Bond; and brother-in-law- Rick Taylor.

Mr. Bond is survived by his step sons- Wesley (Jessica) Sides, and Tyler (Olivia) Sides; 2 grandchildren; brother-in-laws- Jackie (Deborah) Taylor and John Taylor; sister-in-laws- Sandra (Jimmy) Hodnette, Pam (Stan) Wheeler, and Donna Taylor.
