Larry Cobble, 66, of West Point, MS passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at 5:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jody Andrews officiating.

Mr. Cobble was born March 6, 1951, in Huntsville, AL to the late James "Jimmy" J. and Margaret Elizabeth Ransom Cobble. He worked as an owner for Accessory Corner for 26 years and he was also a manager at Super X Drug Store for 28 years.  Mr. Cobble was a member of Life Church and was a man of faith and loved his church family. He enjoyed going fishing and being on the water. Mr. Cobble was a loving husband to his wife, Joanne Cobble, a loving father to his children and all of his family. He was a very easy going guy and was very humorous and enjoyed making people laugh. Mr. Cobble loved his duck "Cuddles", enjoyed gardening and doing other piddling work around the yard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cobble was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Cobble and David Cobble.

Mr. Cobble is survived by his wife- Joanne Treadway Cobble of West Point, MS; son- Brian (Samantha) Cobble of Ocala, FL; daughter- Alisha Johnson of Roseville, CA; and sister- Brenda Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers are Bob Boisseau, Ron Walmsley, Frank Jenkins, Bob Varner, J. B. Walker, LB Treadway, Ricky Fuller, Kendall Lusk, and Bob Nolan.
