Larry Dale Long, 68, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Robert Gillis officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Long was born October 13, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to the late JD Long and Marguerite Jones Long. He worked many years as an IBM Tech. Mr. Long was an active strong Christian for 45 years and was a long-time member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Mr. Long is survived by his wife- Cindy Sue Williamson Long; daughter- Celeste (Lee) Gillis; son- Gabriel (Jennifer) Long; grandchildren- Rowe Gillis, Reese Gillis, and Margot Long; brother- Jay Long and sister- Sharon (Mike) Brunson.
