Lee Palmer

Leflore "Lee" Palmer, 92 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence.

A graveside service will be Saturday, March 18, 2017, 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Palmer was born March 8, 1925 to the late William Curtis and Ollie Lee Lewis Brewer in Webster County, MS.  She moved to Columbus 37 years ago from Arkansas.  Mrs. Palmer was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS where she taught Sunday School.   Mrs. Palmer loved crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking and working in her yard.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband – Harold A. Palmer.

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her Children – Mickey (Darlene) Palmer, Reston, VA, Jerry Palmer, Phoenix, AZ, Stephen (Sandy) Palmer, Tulsa, OK, Brian (Betty) Palmer, Millport, AL and Judith E. Moore, Columbus, MS; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
