Legend Vonghan Carley, 15, of Caledonia, MS passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his home.

Visitation is scheduled from 2:00-4:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus, MS.   Funeral services will follow at  4:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.

Legend was born on January 29, 2007, in Columbus, MS to Kannika Vonghan and the late Donald Scott Carley.  He attended Caledonia High School where he was a member of the Caledonia Band.  Legend loved drawing, being outdoors, everything military, and making people smile.  He was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol.  In addition to his father, Legend is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Carley, Jr.

He is survived by his mother – Kannika (Casey McElroy) Vonghan; brother – Scotti (Marah) Carley; sister – Lindsey Carley; grandmothers – Edna Carley, Pamela Jones, and Pranom Vonghan; grandfather – Towan Vonghan; an aunt – Kawon Nakum; and Uncle Supakron Vonghan.
