Lera Allbritton, 82, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at  Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbus, MS with Bro. Ty Danielson officiating. Interment will follow.

Ms. Lera was born on October 26, 1941, in Columbus, MS, to the late Lola Hannah Richardson and Robert Richardson. Ms. Lera was of Baptist faith and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. She was a seamstress for many years and retired from Red Kap Industries.She loved her family and friends dearly. In addition to her parents, Ms. Lera is preceded in death by her son-in-law Dan Brownlee.

Ms. Lera is survived by her daughter- Phyllis Brownlee; grandchild- Magen (Chris) Page; son- Brian (Amy) Allbritton; and sister- Patsy (Ottis) Tilley.

Pallbearers will be Chris Atkins, Guy Wilcox, Paul Moore, Chris Page, Bill Delk, Sr., Billy Strickland, and Hebo Pritchett. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Quick, Rex Gilliam, Mt. Zion Baptist Church Chrysalis Sunday School Class, Carolyn Willoughby, Barbara Ibarra, and Former employees of Red Kap.
