Lesley Myron Atkins, 57, of Caledonia, MS passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2016, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kolala Springs Baptist Church, Caledonia, and MS. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Kolala Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Don Harding officiating. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Atkins was born June 15, 1959, to Barbara Ann Holder Atkins and the late Charles Douglas Atkins in Columbus, MS. He was a graduate of the class of 1978 Caledonia High School, enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, was an avid Mississippi State Bulldog fan for both football and baseball, and a member of the Community Hunting Club. Mr. Atkins truly loved everyone in his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mr. Atkins is survived by his mother-Barbara Ann Holder Atkins, Caledonia, MS; step sons-Ben (Jessica) Smith, Hamilton, MS and Isaac (Tiffany) Smith, Sumiton, AL; brothers-Charles (Lynda) Atkins, Victorville, CA and Julius Atkins, Gautier, MS; grandchildren-Austin Smith, Stella Smith, and Ava Lecza; niece-Melissa Snow Atkins; nephew-Justin Douglas Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Brett Holder, Lance Holder, Matt Holder, Fred Chapel, Phillip Atkins, and Harold Pounders. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack Westbrook, Frank Westbrook, Ted McDaniel, Armon McDill, Jason Watkins and Community Hunting Club.
