Lewis Michael Cole, 70 of Millport, AL passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.  The interment will be at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Cole was born October 13, 1952, in Double Springs, AL to the late Geneva Lucille Chambers.  He was self-employed in the concrete business for several years.  Mr. Cole enjoyed NASCAR, watching football, and hunting but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his wife – Mary Lois Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by his son – Sean Cole (Marie McGrew);  grandchildren –Kyla Cole, Michael Cole, Matthew Sides, Chase Sides, Dustin Pitts, Kory Fields, Isaac Shurden; great-grandchildren- Nolan Fields, Aliva Boyd, Greyson Sides, Ryder Sides, Parker Sides, Paisley Pitts, and Payden Pitts; sisters- Francis Cravey, Sharon Evans; brother- Freddrick Lynch, Joel Wright; Nephew- George Goff and family and Morris Knighton and family; extended family sister- Benji Moody.

Pallbearers will be Matt Sides, Luke Knighton, Austin Byrd, Isaac Shurdan, Jordan Chatman, and Michael Cole; honorary pallbearers will be Pat Temple, Employees of Jeff Conn Construction, Barksdale Catfish Lakes, Cash and Carry, New Home Building Stores, MMC Concrete, Delta Concrete, JTP Concrete, Ray Livingston Construction, Champion Towing and previous employees of Mike Cole Concrete Construction.
