Lillian Lucille Biela Lillian Lucille Biela, 92 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 3 - 5 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 5 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Black officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Stickney, IL. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is in charge of local arrangements and Sourek Funeral Home, Cicero, IL in charge of Illinois arrangements. Mrs. Biela was born April 23, 1919 in Vardaman, MS to the late Tom W. and Etta Pettit Bailey. She was a resident of Columbus, MS for the past 31 years having moved from Cicero, IL. Mrs. Biela retired in 1976 from Victor Gasket with 20 years of service. She worked at Knickerbocker in West Point, MS. Mrs. Biela loved to dance and grow flowers and was known for her green thumb. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Biela is preceded in death by her husband - Walter Biela; son - Clint Dye; sister - Modess Dye; and brother - Winford Bailey. Mrs. Biela is survived by her son - Jerry Dye, Downers Grove, IL; daughter - Rose Marie Lejeune, Glendale, AZ; brother - JC Bailey, Columbus, MS; grandchildren - Jack Perpignani, Michelle Mucklebuck, Scott Perpignani, Richard Dye, Steven Dye and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Staff of Windsor Place, Columbus, MS and Mary Linn.
