Linda Kay Anderson, 79, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at her residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home, entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson was born September 22, 1945, in Columbus, MS to the late Charlie Dean Ferguson and Ruby Hazel Shepherd Ferguson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Anderson loved all of her family very much, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband- Glen Edgar Anderson; brothers- Larry Ferguson, Ricky Ferguson, Cameron Ferguson, James Ferguson, and Phillip Ferguson.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son- Charles "Chuck" (Janet) Anderson; daughter- Christi (Lee) Ray; grandchildren- Rylee Ray, Christopher Anderson, Gracie Anderson, Emily Anderson, and Haley Anderson; sisters- Ann Barton, and Vickie Benoist.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stokes, Johnny Stokes, Richard Barton, Randall Barton, John Beard, and Daylon Ferguson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Employees of Spring Valley Hospice.
