Linda Diane Cook, 75 of Caledonia, MS passed away May 15, 2023, at Monroe Regional Hospital in Aberdeen, MS.

Memorial Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Friday, May 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Cook was born July 12, 1947, in Drew, MS. Mrs.Cook attended beauty school in the early '70s. After owning her own shop for many years, she became a Cosmetology Instructor. She eventually opened her own cosmetology school, The College of Cosmetology in Columbus, MS with her lifelong best friend, Molly Williams Kinard. Mrs. Cook was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents - Marie and Theron Bradberry, brother- Charles G. Williams, Grandfather- Leslie Ford Pennington, and Grandmother- Cliffie Malinda Coleman Pennington.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband- John Cook; Daughters- Julie S. Gillis, Jennifer G. (Scott) Andrews, Jeanie M. (Marki) Miller; Grandchildren- Jason L. Mann, Lindsay B. Blankenship, Hayden (Jayne) Gillis, Hunter R. (Grace) Griffin, Drake Griffin, Tyler Henderson; Great- Grandchildren—Launa, Alexa, Cason, Gadsden, Grayson, Teagyn, Hadlee, Roni Faye; Sisters- Penny White, Etta Williams; Nieces- RhondaReed (Jim) Egan, and Shelia Reed Childs.

We would like to mention special thanks to her primary doctor, Matt Harris, and the staff at Monroe Regional Hospital in Aberdeen, MS for all of their kindness, consideration, and exceptional care during her many stays in their care. Thanks for all the love and support from the many special people in her life, especially Scott McCormick, Lesa Cook, Molly and Gary Kinard, and Lex Cook.
