Linda Nickles Davis, 63 of Cedar Bluff, MS passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center, West Point, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 12-1 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Ben Yarber officiating. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Davis was born March 5, 1949 in Columbus, MS to the late Raymond and Turah Mae Martin Murphy. She moved to Lowndes County in 1995 from Baton Rouge, LA. Mrs. Davis was a member of Faith Baptist Church, West Point, MS where she played the organ. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, texting family and friends, reading and also an active member of AA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Nickles and husband , Bro. Larry Murphy. Mrs. Davis is survived by husband –Jerome Glen Davis, Cedar Bluff, MS, son-Brian Nickles, Ft. Myers, FL. Pallbearers will be Marty Holtman, Bruce Markhan, Gary Holtman, Robert Brock, Brad Davis and Stephen Pennington. Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends of AA in Columbus and West Point and the members of Faith Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1834 E.
