Linda May Dorsey, 76 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at her residence.

A visitation will be Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Dorsey was born October 21, 1945, to the late Arthur Fredrick Williams and Dolly Ann Wells Woehrman in Edinburg, TX.  She married her husband – Jimmy Dorsey, in 1994 in Gatlinburg, TN.  Mrs. Dorsey retired from the Civil Service where she worked in aircraft tools and parts.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren climbing trees with them.  She also enjoyed dancing.

Mrs. Dorsey is survived by her husband of 27 years– Jimmy Dorsey, Columbus, MS; daughter – Rhonda Bramlett; son – James McClain, grandchildren – Scott, Brandi, Lynn, Carley, Bethany, Alex, Isaac, Levi, Tabitha, and Elijah; sister – Rhoda (Freddy) Griffin.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Sprinkle, Ronnie Black, R.J. Black, J.D. White, James Harris, Scott Bramlett and Tim Craig.
