Linda Langford, age 68, of Steens, MS passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Rutledge officiating. Interment will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Steens, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Langford was born May 9, 1949, in Pope, MS to the late Floyd Thomas and Adell Beard Fowler. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Langford worked as a sales clerk at Dollar General for 5 years. She was a member of the Ladies Aux American Legion Post 69. Mrs. Langford enjoyed going to yard sales, playing with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. She really enjoyed life to the fullest. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by her brother- Tommy Fowler, and her sister- Mary Ann Palmer and Geraldine Fowler.

Mrs. Langford is survived by her husband- Jerry Langford of Steens, MS; sons- John McDill, Jr. and Chris Langford both of Columbus, MS; daughter- Sharon Shawver of Columbus, MS; brother- Jerry Fowler of Columbus, MS; sisters- Marie (Charles) Mordecai of Millport, AL, Joyce (Joseph) Vadalabene of Columbus, MS, and Jean Williams of Columbus, MS; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members. Honorary pallbearers will be Waymon McDill, Jerry McDill, Chad McDill, and Armon McDill.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, or the Ladies Aux American Legion Post 69.
