Linda Ann (Brown) Maxey, age 75 went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus MS.

Linda was born on September 4, 1947 in Columbus Mississippi to the late Jessie Roy (Buster) Brown and Annie Mae Arnold Brown. She retired from an extensive career in medical transcription, working for Internal Medicine, Dr. Doyle Sumrall and Dr. Michael Duckworth, Columbus Urology Clinic, and Columbus Orthopedic. In retirement, she was an avid reader and enjoyed putting together puzzles. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband – Larry Maxey and her brother – Roy Brown and niece – Lisa Gail (Brown) Wilson.

Survivors include; Nephews: Cody Joshua Wilson and Kasey Chance Wilson, and multitude of cousins and great cousins. Linda will be laid to rest in Columbus at Memorial Gardens, next to her husband, Larry.
