Linda Carol Reeves Linda Carol Tollison Reeves, 62 of Columbus, MS passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her residence. A memorial service for Mrs. Reeves will be October 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Mathiston, MS with Bro. Charles White officiating. Interment will be in Spring Valley Cemetery, Mathiston, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Reeves was born June 14, 1949 in Sherwood, MS to the late John W. and Gladys Johnson Tollison. She moved to the Columbus area 14 years ago from Prairie, MS. She worked for American Trouser as a picker and enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Carroll Reeves. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her daughters – Shannon Michell (Billy Joe) Hurst, Scobey, MS and Christina Lynn Reese, Aberdeen, MS, son – Johnny Wayne (Ida) Tyler, Steens, MS, sister – Faye (Herbert) Jones, Columbus, MS, brothers – Jerry Tollison, Columbus, MS and John W. Tollison, Sherwood, MS, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
