Linda Carol Senften Jackson passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home in Columbus, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, at 10 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Gillon and Bro. Sammy Crawford officiating. A graveside service will follow around 1:30 P.M. at Moselle Memorial Gardens in Moselle, Mississippi. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, Mississippi is entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Jackson was born October 11, 1946, in Canton, Ohio to the late Ralph Senften and Christine Merritt Senften. Mr. Senften met Linda's mother while attending church in Moselle shortly after World War II. They moved to Ohio and stayed two years before moving to Moselle taking over the family farm, raising cows, chickens, and crops. After graduating from college Linda moved to Mobile where in the career department Sunday School Class at Dauphin Way Baptist Church, she met many friends including the love of her life, Richard over 50 years ago. Many other friendships begin there which still exist over 50 years later. Linda was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Columbus, MS. Linda's heart was the creeper Sunday school department, and served the Lord many years with the babies. Her education included graduating from Jones County Junior College and a degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Linda went back to college after her kids were grown to be certified as a business computer teacher to minimize her kids college debt.

Linda is survived by her husband of over 47 years, Richard, her son Richard Matthew Jackson (Brooke), her daughter Melinda Kaye Jackson Wallace (Joel), 3 granddaughters, Lillie Jackson, Claire Jackson, Emily Wallace and as she put it her favorite grandson (only grandson Jackson Wallace). Survivors also include two brothers Ted (Ginger) Senften, and Dale (Marie) Senften, and two nieces Mandie Senften Rodriquez and Jenny Senften Hipp.

Linda leaves with her family a strong, Christ-centered, tender heart. She will be missed greatly while separated. The family awaits a family reunion in Heaven someday.

Thanks to all who loved and cared for her during these several months of illness.

A special thanks to the prayer warriors for Linda's journey especially the Daniels, the Wallaces, Linda's family, Linda's Sunday school class, and many others that don't even directly know Linda.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 504 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Samaritan's Purse, Po Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
