Linda Carol Shepherd, 73, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 PM  with Rev. Al Hamm officiating, Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Shepherd was born on September 30, 1948, in Columbus, MS to the late Effie Mae Richardson Bailey and Vester Bailey. She was a member of Victory Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shepherd is preceded in death by her husband- Jackie Tilley, and two children- Michelle Porter, and Brian Tilley.

Mrs. Shepherd is survived by her husband- James Shepherd of Ethelsville, AL; daughter- Daphne Tilley of Columbus, MS; son- Earnest Tilley of Ethelsville, AL; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers- George Ashmore, and Malcolm Ashmore; and sisters- Johnnie Mae Newman, and Lorene Burks.
