Linda Marie Stotts, 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at her residence.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Stotts was born December 21, 1941, to the late David L Williams and Ida L Moton Williams in Columbus, Ms.  She served as a house mother for sororities and fraternities at MSU, UA, and University of South Alabama – Mobile.  Mrs. Stotts also worked in administration in accounting and various businesses.  She was a devoted mother who loved her family deeply and gave her all to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her companion, Stan.  She loved animals, especially cats, and has joined her beloved dog, Olivia, and cat, Gumby.  Mrs. Stotts was a loyal fan of the Ole Miss Rebels.    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stotts is preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Douglas, and son Sammy Stotts, Jr.

Mrs. Stotts is survived by her companion Stanley Hansen; son – Bill (Erica) Stotts; daughter – Kay (Walter Heath) Quinlan; grandchildren – David Tucker, Robert Tucker, Jennifer Tucker Dowdy, Matt Perez, Cody Stotts, Katie (Wesley) Weir, Kasey (Keith) Reed, Mikenna Shepperson, Jackson Stotts, Seth Stotts, Kristen McDaniel, Jacob Quinlan, and Erin Quinlan; and 16 great-grandchildren
