Mary Lois Flippo, 80, of Caledonia, MS passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Monroe County Regional Medical Center in Aberdeen, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Philip Blaylock officiating and Bro. Kenny Gardner assisting. Interment will be at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. The family requests that individuals attending the services to wear masks and social distance.

Mrs. Flippo was born August 13, 1942 in Monroe County, Mississippi to the late Madie Lou Adams and Leonard Melvin Blaylock. She worked at McCoy Manufacturing Garment Plant in Caledonia in the 1980s and attended Vaughn's Beauty College and had her own beauty shop. Mrs. Flippo loved singing, shopping on QVC, and her happiest times where having all her family together and spending time with them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother- Jack (Linda) Blaylock.

Mrs. Flippo is survived by her husband- Wayne Flippo; daughters- Renee (Mark) Holder, Rita (Eddie) Boykin; sons- Ricky (Carol) Flippo, Randle (Landa) Flippo; grandchildren- Renata (Tim) Boatner, Joshua Holder, Dallas (Kellyn) Flippo, Delaney Flippo, Meagan (Ky) Massey, Brittney (Todd) Clardy, Ashley (Tyson) Smith, Olivia Boykin, Peyton Boykin, Joseph Boykin; great grandchildren- Landyn Freeman, Cash Flippo, Layton Clardy, Mason Clardy, Jude Flippo, Mila Clardy, Silas Flippo, Clay Flippo, Caige Massey, Christian Smith; sister- Shirley (Larry) Green, brothers- Bob (Yvonne) Blaylock, Donald (Carol) Blaylock and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ky Massey, Francisco Garcia, Terry Blaylock, Jerry Blaylock, Todd Clardy, Tyson Smith, Dallas Flippo. Honorary pallbearers will be Peyton Boykin, Joshua Holder, Tim Boatner, and Jay Harrelson.
