Loreen "Lori" Zimmer, age 71, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 7:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Honeycutt officiating.

Mrs. Zimmer was born on January 14, 1947, in Michigan to the late Raymond Alfred and Ellen Hendrickson Jones. She loved cooking, Michigan football, and the Detroit Tigers. Mrs. Zimmer loved life and loved anyone who met her. She loved animals and enjoyed playing at the casino. Most of all, she loved her family and friends, and her sweet dog Zoe. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Zimmer was preceded in death by her brother- Raymond Jones.

Mrs. Zimmer is survived by her husband- Bill Zimmer of Columbus, MS; daughter- Dana Zimmer of Westland, Michigan; sons- Billy Zimmer (Lana Brown) and Bryan Zimmer both of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Chandler Zimmer, and Brianna Woychesin; sister- Elaine Rogers of Garden City, Michigan; and brother- Ronald Jones of Dearborn Heights; Michigan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Tilley, Frazier Kinsey, Cindy Gerhart, Michael Prestidge, and Cathy Stepchuk.
