Louis Lake Trimble, 66 of Millport, AL passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mr. Trimble will be Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jammie Turner officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Macon, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Trimble was born March 9, 1949 to the late Louis Minor and Mary Cheatham Trimble in Macon, MS and moved to Millport, AL in 2008. He was a veteran of the United States Marines Corp and served as a Sargent during the Vietnam War as an airplane mechanic. Mr. Trimble retired in 2000 from Holcim where he was a crane operator for 26 years. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, Millport, AL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Trimble was preceded in death by his sister - Jane Price. Mr. Trimble is survived by his wife of 33 years Judy Payne Trimble, Millport, AL; daughter - Ami (Chad) Weldon, Columbus, MS; son - Jason (Blair) McGee, Columbus, MS, 7 grandchildren; nephew - Brian (Audrey) Price and aunt - Ruth Sparkman, Cooksville, MS. Pallbearers will be the Men of Asbury Methodist Church, Millport, AL. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hurt, Ronnie "Turkey" Durham, James Robbins and Eugene Thomas.
