Louise, Hill, 86, of West Point, MS passed away Friday, September 25, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodland, MS with Eric McNair officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Hill was born on June 17, 1934, in Chickasaw County, MS to the late Mattie Lou Griffin and Warren Pete Hamby. She enjoyed serving with the WMU on the Associational and State level for many years. Mrs. Hill faithfully taught the eldest senior adult ladies Sunday School class at FBC, West Point for many years. She enjoyed cooking and she prepared many wonderful meals for family and friends throughout her life. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed working puzzles of all kinds. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years- Harrel Hill, Sr.; son- Harrel Hill, Jr.; sister- Shirley Miller; and brother- Jimmy Hamby.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughters- Susie (Eric) McNair of Pearl, MS, Amy (Keith) Elliott of Brandon, MS, and Joy (Willie) Edwards of West Point, MS; son- Mark (Holli) Hill of West Point, MS; grandchildren- Elizabeth (Walter) Sikora, Brad (Katelyn) McNair, Paige (Cody) Bruce, Suzanne Elliott, Josh Fulgham, Ryan (Carissa) McNair, Taylor (Hayden) Boyd, Matt (Victoria) McNair, Jon Fulgham, Jacob Davis, and Gracie Hill; great-grandchildren- Karmyn Elliott, Aiden Elliott, Truett McNair, Zayn Elliott, and Josiah McNair; sisters- Virginia (Paul) Jambor, Glenda Easley, Nancy Ferguson, and Brenda Hamby; brothers- Bill Hamby, and Tom (Adele) Hamby; and a host of nieces and nephews.
