Lucile Chambers Wright, age 85, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will follow on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 10:00 AM in Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Wright was born on July 19, 1932, in Double Springs, AL to the late John Rice and Lula Armstrong Chambers. She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Wright was a collector, and she loved the Lord and enjoyed doing crafts. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughters- Frances (Tim) Cravey of Caledonia, MS, and Sharon (Mike) Evans of Ethelsville, AL; sons- Mike Cole of Fernbank, AL, Freddy (Sandra) Lynch, Sr., Tremont, MS, and Joel (Kim) Wright of Millport, AL; grandchildren- Sean Cole, Melanie Evans, Freddy Lynch, Jr., Alisha Lann, Crystal Wisham, Laura Guyton, Kevin Evans, and Cale Wright; a host of great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Sean Cole, Cale Wright, Matthew Sides, Issac Fields, and Freddy Lynch, Jr.
