Lucille Robbins, 76 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her residence. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 1 pm with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating and Bro. Benton Goodman and Bro. Mike Hall assisting. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery in Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Robbins was born April 17, 1937 in Lamar County, AL to the late Charlie and Ida L. Miller Ussery. She was a homemaker and a member of Fernbank Baptist Church, Millport, AL. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed traveling and going to the Smokey Mountains. She also loved her family, fishing and gardening. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother-Roy Ussery. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband-Haskell Robbins, Columbus, MS; sons-Jerry Haskell (Nancy) Robbins, Carrollton, AL and James Michael (Joyce) Robbins, Columbus, MS; brother- Arlie (Erlene) Ussery, Collierville, TN; sister- Doris (Billy) Peaks, Olive Branch, MS; granddaughter-Kayla Robbins and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris Peaks, Ricky Ussery, J.T. Beard, Roger Johnson, David Robbins, Gary Robbins and Don Clay. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Busch & Staff, Gentiva Hospice & Staff, Nolan Long Term Care & Staff, Tuscaloosa, AL, and Men of Fernbank Baptist Church.
