Mamie Harvey Aldridge, 85, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2017, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Robert Parrish from Southside Baptist Church, Fayette, AL, officiating and Dr. Breck Ladd assisting. Lowndes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Aldridge was born August 26, 1931, in Hunter, Missouri to the late Edward Bondurant and Alta Caroline Bodamer. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS and was married to her husband Amos Aldridge there on February 11, 2012. Mrs. Aldridge worked as a travel agent. She loved her small group at Fairview (D-Group), enjoyed her Sunday School Classes, and loved her card playing group as well as her dominos group. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aldridge is preceded in death by her first husband Charles E. Harvey, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Mrs. Aldridge is survived by her husband – Amos Aldridge; daughters – Cathryn Louise (Robert) Kemph, and Caroline Marie (Michael) Bogue; sons – Ronald Wayne (Sonya) Harvey, Daniel Edward (Gail) Harvey, David William (Kathy) Harvey, and John Joseph (Alana) Harvey; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
