Marc Alan Tomlinson, 44 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2017, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 1; 00 pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.  Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Tomlinson was born February 28, 1973 to the late Von Lee and Melba Hendrickson Tomlinson in Hahira, GA.  He was an auto body repairman with Burchfield Body Shop for 25 years.  Mr. Tomlinson was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter.  He also enjoyed rock crawling, mud riding and loved doing things with his children.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Tomlinson was preceded in death by his son – Calem Tomlinson and brother – Scott Brooks.

Mr. Tomlinson is survived by his wife – Jennifer Cook Tomlinson, Columbus, MS; sons – Cody (Michelle) Tomlinson and Jared Tomlinson; step-son- Caleb Price and Colby Price; sisters – Amy Robertson, Dawn Conn, Teressa Williams and Lisa Lowery; brother – Michael Tomlinson; grandchild – Alexander Tomlinson.

Pallbearers will be Duncan Camp, Tim Fulton, John Fields, Michael Carter, Jimmy Atkins, Chesley Brownlee.
