Marcella Nagy Marcella Elisabeth Nagy, 85 of Columbus, MS passed away, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Nagy will be Monday, October 21, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A private graveside service will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Nagy was born August 20, 1928 to the late Sam & Athalee Humphreys Crotts in Savannah, TN. She moved to Columbus 27 years ago from California. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, previous president of her Sunday School Class and involved with the Gideons. Mrs. Nagy was co-owner of Quality Portable Building, Columbus, MS for 15 years. She loved gardening especially flower gardening and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nagy was preceded in death by her husband - Bert Nagy, brother Kenneth Crotts and sister - Audrey Myrick. Mrs. Nagy is survived by her daughter - Sandra (Larry) Clark, Columbus, MS, granddaughter - Julie (Chris) Hinson, Salem, OR, grandsons - Bryan (Diane) Clark, Bexley, OH and Joshua (Amy) Clark, Colfax, ND, 4 great-grandchildren.
